St. Linus’ prospective students are those individuals whose biggest concerns revolve around life issues, finances and family. We believe that life is a classroom in itself and education is a lifelong process of trial and error; students going back to school are the rule not the exception! Namely:

• Individuals who simply want to study or continue where he/she left off
• Individuals who wish to continue full-time employment while earning their degree
• Individuals who need academic credentials to earn promotions or increases in income
• Individuals who are already established in their careers and do not necessarily require additional academic credentials, but need a degree
• Individuals who have interrupted their college education and find it difficult to return to a traditional campus to complete their degree requirements
• Individuals for health reasons are unable to complete their degrees in a traditional classroom setting
• Individuals who need a second chance at education and they want to succeed this time
• Military/Police etc. officers/personnels who are either stationed in remote areas or who are not in one location long enough to attend and complete traditional courses
• Employers who wish their employees trained in specific areas without losing the continuity of their service
• Single parents who dropped out of school for personal reasons

What are the top reasons to get a college degree? As per statistics given by the U.S. Census Bureau, people who have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) are able to earn an average income which is sixty percent (or more) than people who have just a high school diploma. Some of the reasons also include:

 Promotions. You have the experience yet your peers get promoted before you. To earn a college degree using your past schooling, work experiences, and other credentials, the below are the prerequisites or entry requirements (where applicable):

If you are applying for any Associate's Degree, the prerequisite is 1,782 hours    (= 99 units) worth of work related experience, training / seminar, etc.

 Or you may qualify for an Associate's Degree, if you have one of the following:

• 2 years work/life experience related to your major
• 1 year work/life experience related to your major and 30 college credits
• Any combination of the above

If you are applying for any Bachelor's Degree, the prerequisite is 2,268 hours       (= 126 units) worth of work related experience, training / seminar, etc.

 Or you may qualify for a Bachelor's Degree, if you have one of the following:

• 4 years work/life experience related to your major
• 3 years work/life experience related to your major and 30 college credits
• 2 years work/life experience related to your major and 60 college credits
• Any combination of the above

If you are applying for any Master's Degree, the prerequisite is 972 hours              (= 54 units) worth of work related experience, training / seminar, etc.

Or you may qualify for a Master's Degree, if you have one of the following:

• 2 years work/life experience related to your major and a bachelor degree
• 5 years work/life experience related to your major and an associate degree
• Any combination of the above

If you are applying for any Doctoral Degree, the prerequisite is 1,296 hours           (= 72 units) worth of work related experience, training / seminar, etc.

Or you may qualify for a Doctoral Degree, if you have one of the following:

• 2 years work/life experience in your field and a master degree
• More than 10 years work/life experience in your field
• Any combination of the above

 Higher Salary. Empower yourself, increase your self-esteem. It is a fact, those who hold a higher degree make more money in a lifetime than that of a non-degree holder.

 Recognition. Your training and self-study warrant you a degree, but you neither have the time nor the finances to return to school. 

 Self-satisfaction. You may be at an age or period in your life in which returning to school is not feasible, yet obtaining a college degree is essential for a sense of achievement or self-satisfaction.
