The Internet Archive is a non-profit digital library with the stated mission: "universal access to all knowledge". The Archive allows the public to both upload and download digital material to its data cluster, and provides unrestricted online access to that material at no cost. The Archive also oversees one of the world's largest book digitization projects.
Creative Commons is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to making it easier for people to share and build upon the work of others, consistent with the rules of copyright. CC provides FREE licenses and other legal tools to mark creative work with the freedom the creator wants it to carry, so others can share, remix, use commercially, or any combination thereof. CCalso highlights some of the best known users of Creative Commons licenses. You can also search hundreds of millions of CC licensed works and choose a license for your own. Cf.
